HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween was so much fun this year! I think my kids have enough candy to rot out their teeth for the next year. Just in case you can't tell what our costumes are, I am a witch, Kaitlyn and Breanna are black kitty cats, and Christopher is dressed as...himself!

NESTING

4 more weeks to go! Yay. I'm counting down the days, seeing as with each day I get more and more uncomfortable. My nursery is decorated all in blue, the baby clothes are washed and ready to go, my Christmas shopping is done and wrapped (I know-I'm way organized this year!), and I've made freezer meals so that I won't need to cook the first week after I have the baby. I'm tired! Baby can come anytime now.

DISNEYLAND

We spent a week in Disneyland in October and had a wonderful time. The girls still talk about their favorite rides every day. I was suprised by how brave our little girls were. Kaitlyn's favorites were: Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain Railroad. Whatever happened to Dumbo? Breanna's favorites: Pirates and Small World. Since I was prego, I spent quite a bit of time with Breanna riding all the kiddie rides. It was great to spend the time together as a family.

FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL

Yes, my baby girl is now in Preschool. She loves her teacher and all of the little friends she has made there. Her favorite part about Preschool? . . . recess and show and tell!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BREANNA!!!

Yes, my baby is now 2 years old! I can't believe it. She had an excellent day filled with balloons, cake, and presents. She would only open one present, however, and it was a FurReal Kitty. She fell instantly in love and wanted nothing to do with the other presents. All the better for me! I'm now saving them for Christmas.

My two favorite things about Breanna (or "Nanna" as she calls herself):

#1: Soooooo happy all the time! She so often has a precious smile on her face and can somehow make everyone around her laugh. She loves to be the center of attention and performs for us daily.

#2: Soooooo smart. She has quite a vocabulary for one so small and talks up a storm all day long. She loves to repeat everything we say. The other day Christopher said, "She is a little copycat." Breanna replied, "I'm a little copycat!"

IT'S A BOY!

For those of you who are wondering, we are going to have a baby boy! Yay! I'm excited-Christopher's excited-Kaitlyn's excited-Breanna said, "I don't want a baby boy to come live at our house." It was funny. She'll love him when she sees him!

8th Wedding Anniversary

We were married on May 24, 2001 and 8 blissful years later, we have 2 kids, a house, 2 car payments . . . and life couldn't get any better! We spent our wedding anniversary in Hawaii while my mom and dad watched the kids. It was nice to get some R&R. (Except for the fact that I was throwing up the whole time. Yup, I'm pregnant! Yay! So excited, but oh so sick.) Anyway, I decided to make a list of 8 things I love about my sweetie pie:
1. He's incredibly handsome
2. Sooo hard working-a good provider for our family
3. Loves to travel
4. Is an incredible father and loves to spend time with his children
5. Very decisive
6. Loves to snuggle
7. Takes time to help others
8. Keeps me grounded. He never freaks out about anything!

Happy 30th Birthday!

On April 12th, Christopher turned the big Three Oh! We had a big party with lots of friends, family, and food.

EASTER

MARCH

Happy March! Nothing really exciting going on this month. I just took pictures when the girls were being so incredibly cute! Kaitlyn's holding a baby lamb that's 2 days old. A guy in our ward raises sheep and invited us over for FHE to see the baby lambs. They were all so sweet. One of the other pics is of Breanna helping me mop. She's turning into mommy's little helper and loves to help me clean. Little cutie pie!!!

FEBRUARY

Happy Valentine's Day! The girls had a great time decorating cookies and opening all the cards from cousins and grandmas. A special thanks goes out to Michaels Crafts Store for their pre-made sugar cookie kits complete with frosting, sprinkles, cookies, and candy. It was so easy! There was a lot more eating going on than decorating, however . . .

JANUARY

We took Kaitlyn snow skiing for the first time this winter! We put her in ski school in the morning and went skiing with her in the afternoon. Christopher's wonderful parents watched Breanna for us. Kaitlyn is almost as advanced a snow skiier as her mother now!

HAWAII for the HOLIDAYS

We got to spend the holidays in Hawaii with my family. Kaitlyn had a wonderful time playing with cousins and swimming, Breanna loved the hot tubs and eating sand, and I enjoyed spending time as a family.

KAITLYN'S 4th BIRTHDAY

My beautiful Kaitlyn is 4! (going on 14!) She had a friends party at Currents: an indoor water park. We had a fun and fabulous day! She keeps reminding me that she is now a big 4-year old girl - Not a 3-year old baby anymore. The other day she said, "mommy, now that I'm 4, I think I'll eat chicken enchilladas and salad." She did eat the enchilladas! I was shocked. Then she licked the dressing off of the lettuce. It was close enough. I laughed through dinner.

DECEMBER . . . FREEZING!

It was so cold in the month of December that the kids couldn't go outside to play in the snow. . . so, I carried buckets of snow and put it in the bathtub. The kids had a great day eating snow, making snow balls, and a snowman all in the comforts of our home. Fun cold day!
